What CityDrop stores, why it stores it, and how you can remove it.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
You can play every part of CityDrop without an account, and in that case the game keeps its progress on your own device rather than on a server. If you create an account, we store the details needed to run your profile: your email address, your chosen username and your game records. We do not sell your data, and we do not collect anything that is not needed to run the game.
Guest progress — best scores, streaks, recent games and settings such as your username choice — is kept in your browser's local storage on the device you are using. It is not tied to you personally and it disappears if you clear your browser data. Nothing about a guest session is sent to us beyond anonymous product events (for example, that a game was started in a particular mode), which contain no personal information.
Passwords are handled by the platform's authentication system; we never see or store them in readable form.
Account and game data are used to run the game you are playing: saving your scores, showing your statistics and achievements, keeping your streak, and ranking you on the leaderboards you have opted into by having an account. Contact messages are used to reply to you and to fix problems you report. Anonymous product events are used to understand which modes and features are actually used.
CityDrop is free and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings and read more in Google's advertising policies. The game itself also uses your browser's local storage to remember progress on your device, as described above.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms who you are and shares your email address (and name, if available) with CityDrop so an account can be created or matched. Google's own privacy policy governs what happens on their side. You can also register with an email address and password instead.
Your email address is never shown publicly. Your username, scores and statistics are visible to other players where they appear on leaderboards and multiplayer screens. Only the person who operates CityDrop can access stored records, and only to run and maintain the game. Data is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers in a form that identifies you.
You can delete your account and its game data yourself at any time: open your profile and choose Delete Account. Your profile, statistics, scores, XP and any feedback you submitted are removed immediately. If you would like help with a deletion, or want to ask what is stored about you, use the contact page.
CityDrop is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If how CityDrop handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
