By playing CityDrop or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

CityDrop is a free, browser-based geography guessing game. No download and no payment is required, and most of the game can be played without an account. The game is provided for personal entertainment and casual practice, not for commercial use, and it is operated by an independent developer rather than a large company.

• You are responsible for keeping your login details safe, and for activity that happens on your account.
• Provide accurate information when you register, and keep your account to yourself rather than sharing a login with other people.
• You must be old enough to use online services in your country, and at least 13 years old, to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

Usernames are public — they appear on leaderboards and in multiplayer games — so they are checked when you create them. Names that contain hate speech, threats, sexual content, harassment or attempts to disguise any of those are not allowed. If a name is rejected it is replaced with a neutral generated username, and the account is told that the chosen name was not permitted. Repeated or serious violations can lead to a username being locked, an account being restricted, or an account being banned. Automated checks run on the server, and decisions can be reviewed.

• Play the game as intended: no bots, scripts, automated solvers or tools that read the answer for you.
• Do not attempt to tamper with scores, leaderboards, other players' accounts, or the game's systems.
• Do not exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage. If you find a bug, report it through the contact page instead.
• Behave decently in multiplayer: no harassment, abuse or deliberately disruptive play.

Scores that are the result of cheating, exploiting or tampering may be removed, and access to leaderboards or the game may be withdrawn.

If you submit feedback, a bug report or a suggestion, you keep ownership of what you wrote, and you give CityDrop permission to use it to improve the game. Please do not send anything confidential or anything you do not have the right to share.

The CityDrop name, its design, code, layout and written content belong to CityDrop. Geography is general knowledge, so you are welcome to learn from the game and talk about it, but please do not copy the site or present it as your own work. Names of real places are used descriptively.

CityDrop is a small independent project. Features may be added, changed or removed, the game may be unavailable while it is being updated, and leaderboards or statistics may be reset or corrected if they are found to be wrong. The game is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, CityDrop is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost progress, lost scores or interrupted access. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

The site is supported by advertising. Ads are served by third parties, and their use of cookies and device data is described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms may be updated as the game changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use CityDrop after a change means you accept the updated terms.
